One of the things that surprised

John Mackey, the renowned founder of Whole Foods Market
is its strong commitment to consensus as a mode of operation. Coolhunting 08 Paris OCIO  Contrary to what happens in most companies, where decisions are taken by majority, Mackey says Whole Foods that voting decisions are not simply ... are agreed: they put all agree.
A work style has its detractors, it takes longer to make decisions, but to ensure the involvement of everyone in the project: when working by consensus, the implementation easier, and problems are solved more quickly, with a line of computer ownership and hard to get otherwise. It spends time at first, but it saves in the execution.
